Roles & Responsibilities
Effective selection and management of suppliers/vendors in order to achieve the company’s strategic objectives.

Efficient transportation & distribution practices to ensure seamless operations in the company.

Forecast demand or create supply plans that ensure availability of materials or products.

Identify opportunities to reuse or recycle materials in order to minimize consumption of new materials, minimize waste, or to convert wastes to by-products

Establishing and sustaining relationships with Client and vendors

Processing Approvals, Reporting and Documentations

Design, implement, or oversee product take back or reverse logistics programs to ensure products are recycled, reused, or responsibly disposed.

Forecast demand or create supply plans that ensure availability of materials or products.

Timely customer communication and technology-enabled visibility to allow the company monitor product flows and collaboratively respond to potential delivery problems.

Review or update supply chain practices in accordance with new or changing environmental policies, standards, regulations, or laws.

Develop material costs forecasts or standard cost lists and negotiate prices and terms with suppliers, vendors, or freight forwarders.

Monitor forecasts and quotas to identify changes or to determine their effect on supply chain activities.

Implement new or improved supply chain processes.

Manage activities related to strategic or tactical purchasing, material requirements planning, inventory control, warehousing, or receiving.

Develop procedures for coordination of supply chain management with other functional areas, such as sales & marketing, finance, operations or quality assurance.

Document physical supply chain processes, such as workflows, cycle times, position responsibilities, or system flows.

Design or implement plant warehousing strategies for procured materials or finished products.

Define performance metrics for measurement, comparison, or evaluation of supply chain factors, such as product cost or quality.

Participate in the coordination of engineering changes, product line extensions, or new product launches to ensure orderly and timely transitions in material or production flow.

Design or implement supply chains that support business strategies adapted to changing market conditions, new business opportunities, or cost reduction strategies.

Conduct life cycle analyses to determine the environmental impacts of products, processes, or systems.
Requirements
A good Bachelor’s degree in any discipline

A Master’s degree in supply chain management, MBA or MSc., Finance would be an added advantage

Minimum of 5 years relevant work experience in procurement/supply chain management within construction or Out-of-Home advertising industry

Possession of project management (PMP or PRINCE2) and/or supply chain management certification is required
