Job Description
The role primarily requires to build & maintain
excellent business relationship with hotels & negotiate for the best
available room tariffs on Jovago website.
On a daily basis you will be required to telephonically
connect up with Hotel Managers along with occasional visits to Hotels.
The position is based in Lagos, Nigeria.
Responsibilities
Engaging with premium hotels to build long term
relationships
Excellent negotiation skill in acquiring best available
rates for all hotels while delivering a positive client experience
Multi-portal management across territories and with all
hotel managers
Excellent telecommunication skill &
telephone / email etiquette
Gather market and
customer information and provide feedback on buying trends
Assure web-based
information is in sync with future marketing and promotional needs & of
relevance to customers.
The position is also responsible for ensuring
appropriate sales processes are followed and the highest levels of controls and
compliance are adhered
Work closely with
other departments (CS, Acquisition, Product, Marketing) to maintain site standards
Suggest innovations
to build rich contents for Hotel Segments
Maintain consistent
look & feel throughout all hotel properties by creating & maintaining
standard formats, guidelines for
contents upload
Review, report &
maintain hotel contents as per standards set by company from time to time
Writing, editing and
proofreading hotel contents and maintaining quality standards will be preferred
Good process oriented skills with self-initiative to drive
continual improvements
Profile Requirements
Good interpersonal skills, including presentation, written
and verbal
Good analytical and problem solving skills
Excellent computing skills and proficiency of business
software applications such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Tasks require a
strong attention to detail and ability to work under strict deadlines.
