· Resolving help desk issues/tickets viz-a-viz troubleshooting issues with printers, email, notebook hardware, applications and user network connectivity· Ensure availability for internal networks devices [ router, switches etc ]
· Ensure availability for local area network connection
· Escalate network availability issues to superiors
· Carry out monitoring and log of network resource utilisation
· Communication with clients to provide regular updates with respect to changes, outages, incident progress report
· Escalate service issues that cannot be completed within agreed service levels
· Support device configuration backup and other assigned tasks.
REQUIREMENT
· Fresh graduate [no experience ] to 1 year experience· Some knowledge of network hardware [ routers, switches, servers etc ]
· Knowledge of operating systems platforms such as Windows 2008 /Win7
GENERIC SKILLS
· Good written and oral communication ability· Action planning, Motivating, Analytical mind and strong problem-solving capabilities
· Ability to work independently in a highly dynamic environment and work under intense pressure.
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills
· Ability to train PwC users on use of computer software and hardware in both office and classroom situations
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION
· First degree or HND in Computer Science and computer related disciplines [Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical /Electronic Engineering, Computer with Mathematics ]· A Microsoft/Cisco certification will be a plus
