Job Title : IT/Digital Media Assistant

PR seeks to employ a young and creative individual to join its team as
an IT/Digital Media Assistant. The individual must have at least 3- 4
years experience in IT and Digital Media related roles.
The person: The
individual must be highly creative, well spoken, must possess good
writing and presentation skills and must be able to work effectively
with a team.
Responsibilities
- Assist in websites development and updates
- Assist in the installation, maintenance and operation of computer/laptop systems,
- Assist with the set up of printers and routers, repair equipment and provide daily support for office systems/network users.
- Daily monitoring of server and email set-ups
- Creating web graphics for websites and social media
- Content management for websites and blog as well as domain and hosting management
- Assist with designing and managing online marketing programs
- Monitoring trends using social media tools and applications
- Measuring the impact of social media programs, analyze, review, and report on effectiveness of campaigns in an effort to maximize results
- Designing enewsletters, logos, art work, etc.
- Preparing reports and periodic assessment updates/monitoring of activities
- Business development and sourcing for new business opportunities for the department
- Support with content development for publications and in-house magazines
Skills
- A good understanding of website design platforms like HTML5, Joomla and Wordpress
- A good understanding of graphic design platforms like Photoshop, CorelDraw etc
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, different operating systems and other office application
- Ability to troubleshoot common hardware/software issues
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
- Ability to quickly gain new skills and knowledge when faced with new challenges, i.e. strong google-fu
- Attention to detail, excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Have a good understanding of social media
- Excellent analytics skills with an in-depth understanding of Google Analytics
