Background
The Data centers are very sensitive
locations that host most of the company’s critical nodes/enterprise
connectivity. These locations can be termed as the heartbeat of the organization,
hence the 24 hours monitoring of the facilities and
physical presence.
Their
responsibilities include but not limited to the following:
1. Physical monitoring of all
installations within the facility,
2. Supervision of routine
maintenance by vendors.
3. Supervision of all ongoing
projects/upgrades/new integrations by vendors
working for different units.
5. Enforcing strict access policy
of the company into the equipment rooms in these
locations.
6. Offering first
line support in event of crisis.
7. Reporting the health and
capacity status of the installed infrastructures.
9. Follow up on fault resolution
and status update of Region
