Qualified consultants will have:
At least 10 years of relevant experience and an academic background relevant to the technical area described.
Substantial experience in emerging or developing economies – particularly in Africa.
A Master’s degree or PhD are preferred but not required.
Experience with bilateral or multilateral development or donor institutions.
Fluency in English, French, Portuguese or another language spoken in Africa.
Roles & Responsibilities
Energy Efficiency and Demand Side ManagementIdeal candidates should demonstrate substantial experience with development, design, and implementation of projects and programs aimed at reducing power and energy demand. Specific areas of experience include experience with:
Technical and non-technical loss analysis
Energy efficiency programs
Carbon caps and greenhouse gas emissions
Energy efficiency investment programs
Green building programs
