PwC is seeking a broad range of specialists practitioners across the power and energy technical areas. 

Qualified consultants will have:
At least 10 years of relevant experience and an academic background relevant to the technical area described.
Substantial experience in emerging or developing economies – particularly in Africa.
A Master’s degree or PhD are preferred but not required.
Experience with bilateral or multilateral development or donor institutions.
Fluency in English, French, Portuguese or another language spoken in Africa.

Roles & Responsibilities

Off-Grid, Mini Grid and Distributed Power Specialists
Ideal candidates should demonstrate substantial experience with distributed power projects including design of small power generation projects or development of micro or mini-grids. Specific areas of experience include experience with:
Financing of small renewable energy projects
Financing of micro or mini-grids
Development or review of power purchase agreements
Development or review of financial models
Privatization of utility assets including distribution companies
Structured finance and project finance for power projects
Development of power procurement documents or implementation of power procurement programs
